DUOTONE LIZARD
The Duotone trainer kites are available in two different sizes. The Lizard 1.8 and the Lizard 2.5, they both offer a safe and enjoyable way for newcomers to learn the basics of kite flying, before they progress onto their first lesson on the water. Durability is paramount when you are learning to fly a kite, both the Lizards are Ram Air Construction and we have employed new internal construction supports to make the kites bomb proof. The handling on the Lizard is predictable and controllable, enabling new flyers to get to grips with the basic skills quickly. The kites react instantly to input on the bar, allowing the flyer to direct the kite around the wind window with precision and ease. Both Lizard kites are supplied with a 50cm rubber coated aluminium bar, this means you can get the “feel” for flying a kite on the same set up as our kitesurfing kites. The bar has winding posts to allow you to wrap up the lines without tangling them. Both Lizards are equipped with a hand leash, optional you can get the 1.8 without leash. The Lizard kites are ready to fly straight out of the bag, unpack, unwind, launch and ENJOY!

Der Pure V1 ist unser aufregender, günstiger (ab 649,- Euro complete mit Bar, Kitebag, Lines, Line-Extentions, Leash) neuer Snowkite. Definiertes Ziel unseres R&D Teams für die Entwicklung des PURE V1 war es, einen depowerbaren Foilkite zu entwickeln, der den Lernprozess von der ersten Session so einfach und zugänglich für Jedermann macht, wie irgend möglich. Der Pure V1, konzipiert um Die "Wochenend-Kiter" unter uns zu Snowkitern zu machen, kommt in vier Größen von 4 bis 10qm. Er kann so Kitern unterschiedlicher Gewichtsklassen gerecht werden. Der 8qm Kite ist ausgelegt um einen 80kg Rider bei rund 10 Knoten ins Fahren zu bringen. (Leichtere bzw. schwerere Rider entscheiden sich entsprechend für die Größen 4, 6 oder 10qm). Die Lenkung und Kontrolle des Pure V1 ist sehr progressiv, was Piloten mit wenig oder ohne nennenswerte Erfahrung mit Kites entgegenkommt. Die Kraftentfaltung geht smooth und konstant vonstatten, die Depower funktioniert intuitiv. Das Kitedesign des Pure V1 ist relativ simpel, was eine tolle Stabilität in der Luft mit sich bringt.. Er lässt sich einfach starten, befüllt sich konstant und steigt ohne große Beschleunigung in den Zenit auf. Der Pure V1 kommt mit relativ kurzen Leinen: 12m sind genug, um Newbees ins Gleiten zu bringen - und sicherer als die mehr als doppelt so langen Lines, die wir auf dem Wasser (und teils auf dem Schnee) verwenden. Dem Kite liegen 5m Extentions bei - diese helfen an Leichtwindtagen ins Gleiten zu kommen. Um den Kite selbst zu landen wird einfach die Bremsleine, die die beiden Steuerleinen miteinander verbindet gezogen. Der Kite schwebt dann sachte zu Boden. Wenn die Session weitergehen soll, wird die Bremse einfach wieder losgelassen und der Pure V1 steigt ohne aggressiven Druck zu entwickeln wieder hoch in den Zenit. Sollte es nötig werden den Kite SOFORT und komplett zu depowern (Beispielsweise in einer Notsituation) wird das Safety System gezogen und der Kite fliegt, nur noch an einer Frontline hängend, drucklos zu Boden.
