Barracuda V3 Ralf Bachschuster - einer der einflussreichsten und radikalsten Kitesurfer der südafrikanischen Kite Szene - entwickelte und testete für RRD in den Wellen Kapstadts ein Waveboard für den anspruchsvollen Kitesurfer. Aus Ralphs Erfahrung, Inspiration und Vorliebe für kraftvolle Wellen, Highspeed-Waveriding sowie schnelle radikale Richtungswechsel, entstand das neue Barracuda V3. Die dritte Version dieses einzigartigen klassischen Thruster-Shortboards hat einen völlig neu gestalteten Grundriss. Die Outline wurde nun noch etwas breiter und runder gestaltet, um die HighEnd-Leistung noch besser genießen zu können. Die maximale Breite wurde in Richtung Board Mitte verschoben, um mehr parallele Linien zum Heck hin zu ermöglichen, während die Spitze leicht verbreitert wurde, um eine bessere Balance und verbesserte Kontrolle und Komfort zu schaffen. Das neue Barracuda V3 ist einfacher und komfortabler bei leichtem und starkem Wind zu fahren. Das neue Pintail-Winger-Tail wurde etwas breiter gestaltet, um eine bessere Upwindleistung zu erzielen. Dank dieser extra Breite kann man nun noch direkter über den hinteren Fuß eine unglaublich schnelle Reaktion und wahnsinnige Drehleistung erzielen.
