Informations sur le produit "RRD Obsession Big Air Y28 Kite 2024"
We are excited to introduce and add to our range the new Big Air Obsession.
It has taken us almost a year of testing as the kite has been studied to the smallest details and perfected in every aspect.
The Big Air Obsession was built using the best construction technologies: its aerodynamic and precision of design provides the rider with a powerful and sudden pull upward, allowing to reach heights never reached before and stay there for endless seconds.
Explosive power and big loop these are the two words to describe this kite. This new shape provides consistent stability through the power stroke which leads you to blindly trust the kite. This big air machine is also designed to boost, loop and for a predictably recovery. It is very aggressive, but if you know how to tame this monster, you can go faster and higher than everyone else. The bar feel of the Obsession is crispy and direct, resulting in a reactive impulse.

- D2 double ripstop fabric

EQUIPPED WITH THE LEGENDARY RIGID THREAD FLYING LINES 2 DIFFERENT SIZES AVAILABLE 52CM (23 MT LINES) AND 48 CM (21 MT LINES) INTUITIVE FAST RELEASE AND RELOAD CHICKEN LOOP FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS: SIMPLE – FUNCTIONAL– RELIABLE- DURABLE – SAFE SIMPLICITY IS THE ULTIMATE SOPHISTICATION!
Infos & Characteristics It all started from an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of current harness technologies, regarding in particular the softshell (the classic flexible harness) and the hardshell (the rigid shell harness): The Softshell The softshell provides perfect adaptability to the user's body type and movements. But it becomes distorted under the pressure of the kite: The user's sides are compressed. It therefore has good adaptability, but little hold. The Hardshell The hardshell does not become distorted under the pressure of the kite: The user's sides are not compressed. But it has no adaptability to the user's body type and movements. It therefore has a very good hold, but little adaptability. By separating the functions of "effort management" and "comfort", we have created a harness that adapts perfectly to your body type and your movements, while offering unparalleled support.
KITE BARFocus On What Matters: Simple – Functional – Reliable – Durable – SafeSimplicity is the ultimate sophistication! In addition to the new features, the RRD Global Bar Y30 is still equipped with special lines called “RIGID THREAD LINES”. These have been used exclusively on RRD bars with great success for over 13 years now. A product that’s now widely tested around the world, yet little is known by kiteboarders about the details of its uniqueness. A pro rider will choose our rigid thread lines over any flying lines on the market. They simply DO NOT STRETCH!!! All our lines are produced and developed in Italy, with a worldwide patent granted only to RRD. The Rigid Thread Linesare the result of collaboration with an Italian manufacturing company that has over fifty years of experience in processing lines and ropes, using the most recent and innovative exotic fibers, combined with an intimate knowledge of the physical and mechanical properties of Dyneema. What’s New?The PU tube protecting the power rope has been enlarged to 12 mm for increased durability and smoother movement. The chicken loop has been completely redesigned—it is now fully automatic for enhanced ease of use and safety. The new grip is thinner, and its ergonomic design has been carefully studied to ensure the best possible grip and perfect comfort during even the longest sessions. Whether you're riding in winter or summer, the grip will always deliver the ultimate performance. The RRD Global Bar Y30 combines cutting-edge technology, premium materials, and a focus on reliability to offer the best riding experience possible.FEATURES:• A COMPLETELY RE-DESIGNED BAR SYSTEM BASED ON THE SAME PRINCIPLE OF ITS PREDECESSORS: SIMPLICITY IS THE ULTIMATE SOPHISTICATION. ONLY SIMPLICITY WORKS AND LASTS IN THE WATER.• INTRODUCTION OF A VIBRANT NEW COLOR SCHEME TO ENHANCE SAFETY, VISUAL APPEAL AND BRAND IDENTITY.• REDESIGNED CENTRAL HOLE IN OVERSIZED CNC ALUMINUM TO OPTIMIZE BAR MOVEMENT ACROSS ALL ANGLES, ENSURING A SMOOTH OPERATION.• INTEGRATION OF AN OVERSIZED 12MM PU TUBE DIAMETER TO ENHANCE DE-POWER SPECTRA ROPE PROTECTION AND SAFETY LINE INTEGRITY.• INTRODUCTION OF AN INNOVATIVE CHICKENLOOP FEATURING A SIMPLIFIED RELEASED SYSTEM WITH ENHANCED EFFICIENCY.
