SUP DOWNWIND / WING LIGHTWIND   Effizienz ohne Kompromisse! Unser Downwinder wurde komplett überarbeitet und kommt in drei schlanken und leichtgewichtigen Shapes, mit denen du einfach aufs Foil kommst und meilenweit fliegen kannst! Eines der ersten Boards, aus der Boardschmiede der Spencer-Brüder Finn und Jeffrey. Nachdem sie zum Team Duotone gestoßen sind, war das neue Design der Downwinder-Shapes ihr erstes Projekt. Das Ergebnis sind sportliche, schnelle und schmale Designs mit effizientem Gleitverhalten, die mit nur wenigen Paddelschlägen auf die kleinste Bodenwelle beschleunigen. Für 2024 gibt es vier Modelle – von 6'4" x 19" und 6'10" x 20" über das mittelgroße 7'2" x 21" bis hin zum stabilen und leichten 7'8" x 22,5", in den Größen 85, 95, 115 und 135 l. Mit einem niedrigen Rocker, einer gestreckten Outline und sauberen Bodenkonturen lassen sich die Boards unglaublich leicht auf Startgeschwindigkeit bringen. Einmal in Bewegung, lassen sich die schlanken Pin Tails mit ausgeprägten Rail Facetten bei den größeren Modellen leicht ins Wasser drücken, um das Board und das Foil für den Take-Off aufzupumpen. Die abgerundeten Rails im Nose-Bereich neigen weniger dazu zu verkanten und das Board in ungewollte Richtungen zu lenken. Das macht den Take-Off und die Touchdowns fehlerverzeihend und neutral, so dass du dich voll und ganz auf die Bumps konzentrieren kannst anstatt auf dein Board. Durch die sensationellen Gleiteigenschaften und die schnelle Beschleunigung ist der Downwinder auch eine echte Waffe zum Wing Foiling bei Leichtwind! Durch die leichtgewichtige 100% Carbon-Konstruktion sind diese Boards entsprechend empfindlich, aber da das Gewicht des Boards für die Paddel-Performance entscheidend ist, haben wir uns bewusst für diese kompromisslose Technologie entschieden.

Starting at 4’10 (75l.) and going all the way to 7’11 (185l.) the line includes boards for all sports and all types of riders. They are developed following the same sizes & outlines as the rigid boards, they offer great stability with the extra volume brought by the inflatable technology. The foil position is also identical to the rigid boards and provide the same perfect balance for take-off and in flight. The 4’10 and 5’4 can be used for surfing, kiting, wing surfing and are also ideal to have fun doing some wakefoil. The 5’4, 5’10 and 6’6 are ideal sizes for Wing foiling with a Swing, offering a variety of volumes to suit everyone. The 7’2 is dedicated to wingfoiling, it is the ideal size to start the discipline. The 7’6 and 7’11 are the real Swiss Knife boards, ready for all sorts of fun: SUP foil, Wing foil, Windfoil, Wing surf. They can also be used to play or paddle withoutthe foil. The 7’2, 7’6 and 7’11 includes 2x US tracks where additional fins can be plugged. In this configuration it becomes the best platform to learn how to handle theSwing (our hand-held wing) before learning how to foil later on. The Rocket Air boards are built using higher grade dropstitch with a fused, twin layer shell and a specific dropstitch pattern bringing extra stiffness which is essential to control the board properly when foiling. The weight of the board is incredibly light which makes them easy to handle and a lot of fun, even for advanced riders. Finally, the Rocket Air boards can all be stored in a small bag to be easily brought on for your next adventure.
