We felt that whoever wants to ride fast, wouldn't want to compromise on the wing design and fairing of their high performance wings, just to have them compatible with their existing fuselages.  Please note: you will need the AXIS Mast Adapter aka the Doodad (in 19mm and 16mm), in order to use with the AXIS Foils Aluminium masts. It connects with the front wing behind the TITAN mast slot in an area where the loads are reduced. Still, the shape of the connection is inspired from the TITAN design and offers a very robust and stiff assembly. FuselageOur fuselage uses a conical box-style connection. This means that the tension from the screws when you tighten them is transferred to the four sides of the box to deliver absolute mast/fuselage rigidity. The angle of the side walls have been designed to be outside the cone of friction, to make sure that the mast/fuselage connection never becomes stuck.The mast/fuselage screws are socket heads, this ensures that the screws are getting only vertical tension when assembled, and are not participating in the centering of the mast/fuselage like a countersunk screw would do. This is made possible thanks to the conical box and allows for the use of only two lightweight M6 titanium screws..
