The Appleslice V4 is the next evolution of Appletree’s most versatile wing board. A refined update of the V3, it’s redesigned to deliver next-level precision, control, and connection—while keeping the all-around versatility that made the Slice a favorite. It feels smoother, lighter, and more balanced underfoot, whether you’re progressing from intermediate to advanced or looking for a high-performance sinker for carving and freestyle.
The New Design
The V4 introduces updates you’ll feel from the first session:

Narrower outline on the mid-range sizes for a faster, more agile feel—aimed at riders wanting extra precision and responsiveness

The 70L size sits between sinker and mid-size boards, offering the best of both worlds

Refined tail with a narrower back section for cleaner water release, smoother flow, and improved control in carving turns

Wide point shifted slightly forward for more lift under the front foot, making early take-off easier and glide feel naturally balanced (especially in smaller, performance-oriented volumes)

Slightly increased nose rocker to help the board get onto foil faster and feel more forgiving when accelerating or cutting through chop, with softer, smoother, more predictable touchdowns

New concave deck under the front foot to “lock you in,” improving grip and connection with clear feedback without sacrificing comfort

Uses FUTURES oneshot boxes, placed in an ultra high density PET honeycomb panel, sandwiched in carbon (carbon both inside and outside)

Vacuum technique developed in-house: carbon and reinforcements layered dry, air extracted, epoxy injected under pressure for tight lamination and optimal fiber/epoxy ratio

100% connection to the core to help prevent delamination

Extra patches under the feet help prevent heel denting

Inserts made from blocks of high density material, customizable in position, and fused to the core so they don’t pull out
