The integrated mast simplifies installation and significantly improves ride feeling and efficiency. With fully internal motor wiring, the motor is less noticeable both powered and unpowered, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted foiling plus the benefit of electric assistance.
The North Sonar Mast is made from refined aluminium foil (AF) sections, offering the perfect balance between light weight and increased strength for high loads. The GeoLock tapered geometry locking system ensures a stiff, durable connection between mast and fuselage, distributing loads efficiently for a secure and long-lasting setup.
Note: The motor is fixed into position on each mast and cannot be removed or changed.

Warum wird er benötigt?
Beim Fusion sitzt die Motor-Steckverbindung am System minimal weiter vom Mast entfernt als bei MAX und Slim. Dadurch reicht der Mast-Stecker nicht von selbst bis zur Buchse am Fusion.
Der Barnacle löst das, indem er:
in den Electronics-Box Plug eingesteckt wird und
die Steckposition näher zum Mast verlegt, sodass der Mast-Plug sauber verbinden kann.
Wann brauchst du ihn nicht?
