In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Porsche Design Team hat Duotone Design Director Florian Panther dieses außergewöhnliche Design wieder zum Leben erweckt und an den Shape des High-Performance-Freeride-Boards Select Concept Blue angepasst. Neu beim Modell 2024: ein asymmetrischer Deck-Shape, eine aktualisierte Outline und unsere neue Concept Blue-Konstruktion. Die erste Frage lautet immer: „Was soll das mit dieser Snowboard Outline bei einem Kiteboard?“ Die Antwort ist ganz einfach: Wenn runde Tips bei einem Snowboard die richtige Wahl sind, dann sind sie das bei einem Kiteboard aus denselben Gründen auch. An der Nose ermöglicht der runde Tip den saubersten möglichen Wassereintritt, ohne zu sehr zu bremsen, zu holpern oder Wasser aufzuspritzen. Am Tail bündelt der runde Tip die Power des Boards entlang der Center Line, die so leichter zu kontrollieren ist als an der Kante.   Die runde Outline vom Sol, welche gerade bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten für eine bessere Kontrolle sorgt, ist mit einem effizienten Rocker kombiniert, um das Angleiten bei schwächeren Winden zu unterstützen. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Designs, bei denen die Rider eventuell ihre Position anpassen müssen, um das Board in Balance zu halten, ist beim Sol das ganze Board der Sweetspot. Dies erleichtert die Balance auf dem Board ungemein und lässt den Rider voll und ganz auf das Fahren konzentrieren, sogar bei stärkstem Wellengang. Beim Sol trifft Snowboarden auf Wakeboarden.
