The AXIS Foil Plate mount is made with high grade Aluminium, 3d CNCed and anodized. This is not your off the shelf plate mount. This is a beautifully engineered and very stiff piece, designed to hold the mast of your foil tightly and strongly. Multiple holes give you flexibility with positioning on your foil board. And the sliding endings, let you remove the plate by just loosening the screws, w/out having to fully unscrew the M8 bolts from your board.As with all of our products, this plate is Designed in New Zealand.

The rear Stabilizer’s main role is to maintain a level and stable flight path. But conditions and user preference may change what stabilizer angle feels the best (aka the sweet spot). Shimming changes the angle of attack (AOA) and controls the amount of downforce the stabilizer creates on the overall foil system - to increase the stabilizer AOA and front foot pressure, add positive shim. The smallest tweak in the AOA can improve comfort, reduce fatigue, change the cadence of your pump or the turning radius of your carve and increase/decrease your front and rear foot pressure without changing your foot position. The F-ONE aluminum mast can be connected to the board with several options. Choose from a 4-bolt top plate, a standard Tuttle head, a KF or a DKF head. All versions are fastened to the mast through a sleeve and a two-bolt system. The Mast Top parts are machined out of solid blocks of 6061 aluminum. The accuracy of the CNC makes sure the geometry of the connection is perfect. Stainless steel inserts are used systematically to preserve the durability of the fastening connections. The Top Plate has become standard on the market and is compatible with any board featuring a Twin-Tracks system. The spacing we use for the four screws is 160×90 mm, but our latest version also features an option for 165×90 mm. The Top Tuttle makes F-ONE foils compatible with all Tuttle boards. The Tuttle format is the original and standard one. A flange has been added around the base of the head to better spread the load through the structure of the board. The KF and DKF heads make current F-ONE foils compatible with kite or SUP foil boards produced previously with these boxes. The strong point of this system is its modularity, as it is always possible to use your mast both with plate and with tuttle. This Plate has been designed for maximum lightness and strength. It has been milled directly in our factory starting from premium aluminum ingots and then it has been deeply anodized by certified partners. The Kraken Mast Plate also makes it possible to upgrade your set-up with the quick release system (Q01K), thanks to which you can assemble and disassemble your hydrofoil in a few seconds, without losing the configuration on the board.
