The F-ONE Rocket Free Surf Carbon blends glide, control and maneuverability into a compact, elongated shape made for carving swells, bumps or choppy water with style and precision. Accessible, responsive and incredibly fun in flight, it is designed for prone surf foil, pocket wing, K-Wing and foil assist.
Built for easy take-offs and committed carving
The Rocket Free Surf Carbon builds on the foundations that made the Rocket Surf Prone successful, with an elongated outline that helps take-offs, optimized volume distribution and a carefully tuned rake angle for balanced front-to-back foot pressure. Combined with reduced thickness, this creates excellent in-flight control and a very direct riding sensation.
A straight rocker line promotes smooth acceleration, while beveled rails reduce drag on touchdowns and allow for more aggressive, committed turns. A slightly flatter nose improves control and pumping efficiency, while the tapered nose and tail enhance maneuverability and help avoid unwanted contact with the water during carves.
The rear step and kicktail free up water flow and increase pumping amplitude. In addition, the deck has been widened and slightly reshaped to improve foot placement and overall stability. Compared to the Free Downwind, the Free Surf is nimbler thanks to its tapered nose and bottom outline, reduced thickness and balanced foot pressure, which also provides excellent pitch stability through powerful turns.
Ultra-light carbon construction with direct foil feel
This version is built in HD Foam Carbon Composite, a very light and stiff construction that enhances maneuverability and delivers a more direct foil feel. It is more reactive when pumping while sharing the same shape and program as the bamboo version.
The board also features Carbon Twin-Tracks with industry-standard 90 mm spacing, compatible with all masts using a four-bolt top plate. The carbon construction improves the connection to the foil, giving more direct feedback, better pumping response and greater maneuverability. The slightly longer tracks also provide more room to fine-tune foil positioning and balance.
