The TRIGGER by Brainchild features a new and exclusive panel layout concept, where the panels on the wingtip areas are all joint together into one panel, as well as the main panel between the tip and the S2 strut. This new panel design enhances the aerodynamic behavior of the kite, as well as reduces the amount of seams, therefore decreasing the weight even further. An exciting new opportunity is here with the advent of a new kite manufacturing facility in Northern Macedonia in Southeastern Europe, headed by Ralf Grösel. The production facility, named Brainchild, is distinguished by its adoption of state-of-the-art assembly technologies and an unprecedented commitment to sustainability, offering an environmental record unmatched in the kiteboarding world. Brainchild uses new, state-of-the-art, extra-light materials as well as innovative techniques like PROWELD – where all the segments of the leading edge are welded together rather than stitched, which leads to an overall increased stiffness of the kite and even further weight reduction. Moreover, the kites are now digitally printed instead of using typical screen-printing processes. LINXBAR The LINX Bar is our control system, a dual adjustable length bar that comes in two sizes (38/45cm and 45/52cm). It perfectly blends lower weight and simplicity with excellent comfort and function. Adjustable bar length New Depower sheath to increase durability New automatic lifeline swivel Intuitive and super precise depower system Superior functionality The bar itself is small in diameter with a comfortable grip making it forgiving on the hands. The grip has a rubbery feel with a fine texture and feels firm underneath and a bit more cushy on the top where your fingers wrap around the bar. The integrated floats at the bar ends house the mechanism to adjust the size of your bar. Simply pull down the tag under the bar, rotate the insert and your bar size is changed. You will also find the possibility to adjust your back lines length. It features a lifeline now placed into a new rectangular depower sheath for more durability. This new feature prevents the centerline from rubbing against the aluminium tube and will not rub against the user’s fingers. The above the bar stainless steel cleat to adjust the power has been updated for more simplicity, and the depower system is now thinner and therefore more precise. The LINX bar offers the option to switch between a low and high V (high V for the BANDIT/BANDIT S/BULLIT and low V for the FURTIVE/BREEZE/ONE). An additional float is placed above the depower system; this is to maintain positive buoyancy if you become disconnected from your bar. The bar’s color-coding is very clear, with orange on the left and dark blue on the right. The lines end in lark’s head loops and are being attached to the bridles connectors. The quick release features a built-in manual swivel above the push to untwist your lines. The new minimalist below the bar lifeline swivel is now made of a plastic stud and a stainless steel ring on which you hang the leash. It rotates easily and automatically untwists your lifeline.

With modular and easy-to-replace parts, the ATOM is built with durability in mind. All components of the bar as well as the QR system can be removed and replaced with minimal tools, extending the lifespan of your gear.
